This is the perfect day for climbers to get introduced to Multi-pitch climbing right here in southern CT!
Details
You’ll climb at two different classic locations in CT. You’ll start at Sleeping Giant State Park and climb 3 pitches of beautiful moderate trad climbing. Once that’s done you’ll move over to West Rock State Park to climb 2 pitches of more slightly more difficult sport climbing.
We’ll climb the 5-star Wiessner’s Rib on Sleeping Giant, the first 5.6 climbed in the 1930’s.
At West Rock, we’ll climb Nickel & Dime, a beautiful , two pitch 5.9 arete to slab route above the ballfields in New Haven’s Westville neighborhood.
