Connecticut VETERANS Rock CLIMBING

Ascent is excited to partner with Southern Connecticut State University to provide 4 indoor or outdoor rock climbing programs per quarter for CT’s disabled veterans and members of the Armed Forces with disabilities. Now in our 8th year!

No climbing experience is required. All equipment and instruction is provided free of charge.

We schedule (4) free climbing programs per quarter, indoors and outside.

ADAPTIVE CLIMBING

Ascent instructors have equipment, training, and experience in assisting climbers with physical and invisible disabilities, including: amputation, limb difference, visual impairment, blindness, hearing impairment, Deafness, spinal cord injury, paralysis, traumatic brain injury, neurological disabilities, PTSD and other invisible disabilities.
